Placing a potted plant in good working space for the health. Based on the study team of psychologists from the University of Norway and Uppsala University in Sweden, the presence of plants can reduce fatigue, stress, dry throat, headache, cough, and dry skin.

In the study, researchers involved 385 employees. Researchers looked at rates of sick leave and number of plants that can be seen from their table. As a result, more and more plants that they see tends to lower the level of risk of illness.

One scientific explanation underlying this conclusion is the ability of plants and microbes in the soil in removing organic compounds which is bad for health.

"The psychological explanation is that many people believe that healthful plant. It tends to make them more optimistic about their own health.

The study also revealed that plant foliage can reduce the level of dust in the workplace by 20 percent. Plant foliage is better than flowers. "The surface of large leaves produce oxygen and help break down toxic substances in the air.

The study was strengthened by reports that Washington State University published a potted plant that is very useful to support the health of employees working in minimal space with no windows or ventilation.

In a study in the United States, the productivity of workers tends to be higher when working in space with a touch of greenery. This is related to stress factors and low blood pressure.

"This study would like to emphasize that the plant can contribute to reducing stress levels
